Microsoft Lumia 650 Charging Problem Jumper Solution

The picture below shows the basic components need to check if the phone somehow doesn’t charge if the wall charger is a plug-in.

But you may first ensure that the wall charger and the phone’s battery you are using are still working. A drained battery will not charge, try to plug the battery charger around an hour or try to replace it with a good one, to quickly check if the battery got the problem.

Experiencing any charging problem or problem connecting your Microsoft Lumia 650 to your computer via USB cable then it is possible that your Microsoft Lumia 650 charging connector is faulty. Replacing it with a new one is the only solution here.

But if by any chance the USB connector prints are broken then you have to make the jumpers as shown in the diagram below.

You may start checking up the charging pin connector, make sure that its terminals are not bent or damaged. Clean it if necessary including the charging pin terminal contact pads on the PCB board.
If the above steps don’t solve, check the FUSE, Coil, capacitor and the Diode, then replace if found damaged.

If all these components seem all working OK, the next option will be is: Try to reheat, rework the Betty IC, this IC holds as a charging controller circuit. You may then try to replace it, if after reheating or reworking it doesn’t solve the problem.

Track all these paths and components as shown in the diagram above. all these tracks are given in different colors so that you can find out the jumper ways easily.
